Evaluating the practicality of using broadacre agricultural seeding machinery to sow native seed mixes

This project aims to understand whether broadacre seeding machinery used across the Wheatbelt could be used as an alternative direct-seeding method for native seed mixes, if native mixes were pelleted to the size of these commonly sown crops.

Early insights for more resilient communities dashboard

The Dashboard will provide up-to-date, localised data to help communities track resilience over time and identify early warning signs of stress. It will include a range of economic, social and environmental indicators with current available data as well as state-based co-design workshops and extension.

Landscape function toolkit

The Landscape Function Toolkit (LiFT) will equip land managers, farmers and First Nations’ peoples with the skills and tools to monitor the function of their landscapes and take action to increase the health and resilience of agricultural landscapes in the face of climate change.

Gather and Grow

This program will support small, locally led gatherings focused on planning for, managing, and recovering from climate challenges. Grants of $2,000–$3,000 are available to Women in Farming branches for events focused on resilience, from practical to social or wellbeing themes.
